Ceramic, Glass, Enamel, or Steel?

The material changes the weight, visual effect, durability, and best use of a mug.

Ceramic

The broadest choice for printed graphics, sculpted forms, unusual handles, reactive glazes, and personalized designs. It is the default material for most novelty mugs.

Double-wall glass

Best for a floating-drink effect and a modern coffee-bar look. Check the listing for thermal-shock and dishwasher guidance.

Enamel

Lightweight and visually tied to camping and travel. It can develop character over time but usually does not belong in a microwave.

Stainless steel and powered mugs

Common in travel, temperature-controlled, warming, and self-stirring designs. Review battery, charger, cleaning, and lid details carefully.
